Food photographer, food stylist and visual storyteller working between Sweden and Italy. I create natural, atmospheric imagery for brands, producers and editorial clients.
Food photography is about more than making a dish look good. It’s about making people feel something, the warmth, the texture, the freshness, the moment just before the first bite. That’s where I focus my work.
With a background in both photography and food styling, 15 lovely years in the photography business, I shape light, composition and detail to highlight what makes each subject unique. I love natural light and I create clean, atmospheric images that feel real and inviting, complemented by artificial lighting when needed to ensure consistency and precision.
I’m particularly drawn to environments where food, nature and materials come together, like wood, stone, plants and natural textures.
I work in both restaurant settings and atmospheric spaces where light, architecture and surroundings play a central role. I’m interested in capturing the feeling of a place, how light falls across a table, how greenery softens a room, how textures and details create a quiet sense of presence.
This approach runs through my Culinary Atmosphere work.
My style balances simplicity with depth. I pay close attention to textures, surfaces and subtle details that bring an image to life whether it’s a crisp crust, a glossy sauce or the character of a setting.
I work with brands, restaurants and producers who want more than just “nice images”, as well as magazines and editorial platforms looking for strong visual storytelling. My goal is always the same: to create images that build identity, evoke emotion and make people want to taste, visit or read more.
I’m available for assignments in Sweden and Italy, and open to both commissioned work and editorial collaborations.
